forceXMLplaylist

forceXMLplaylist -- Causes Wimpy to read all playlist requests as XML

Usage

wimpy.swf?forceXMLplaylist=yes

Description

By default, Wimpy will determine the kind of playlist it is loading by the extension of the file defined with the wimpyApp option. However, under certain circumstances, we may be using a PHP or ASP file to feed Wimpy an XML playlist or RSS feed. Since PHP and ASP files do not use an "xml" extension, Wimpy will "think" that these files are trying to send it a SIFT playlist.

This option is helpful if you have developed your own back-end script that feeds Wimpy and XML playlist. Or when using the Podcast Proxy scripts.
