startDir

(PHP)

startDir--

Usage

<startDir>C:\Inetpub\hiddenMedia</startDir>

Description

In order to take advantage of this option, you must use a wimpyConfigs.xml file. Click here for more information on using a wimpyConfigs. file.

This option will only work when the wimpyConfigs.xml file is located in the same folder as wimpy.php/asp/cfm and will not work when attaching a wimpyConfigs file to wimpy.swf.

Allows you to read the contents of a directory other that the directory that Wimpy is installed in. The location for the "startDir" directive should be an absolute path from the root of your server machine. No trailing slash!!!

Example:

On a Unix-based system use something similar to:
<startDir>/home/www/folder</startDir>

On a Windows system use something similar to:
<startDir>C:\Inetpub\www\folder</startDir>

NOTE: This option may not work with certain server configurations.
